Second Hand Instruments
We often have a range of second hand and ex-rental instruments. Please phone to find out what we might have right at this moment.As a general music shop we carry a great range of brass & woodwind instruments. We carry good stocks of all the most popular instruments including flutes, clarinets, saxophones and trumpets. We also have a selection of second hand instruments most of the time.
As you will soon become aware there is a lot of choice these days. With prices ranging from under £100 to items that would require you to re-mortgage your house, it can be a mine field; we select instruments from all the UK suppliers based on value for money.
Even on our most budget of instrument there are minimum standards we will not go below just to offer a cheaper price. The instrument must play to a basic level without requiring extra set up or alteration and it must be strong enough to handle every day use. We also expect the instruments we sell to get an entry level play to a minimum level of grade 2 (This can be achieved within the first year or two, if you're keen) before needing to upgrade.
